Last week the Spokesperson of the #HoR, Abdullah Blihaq, announced that the Parliament had approved the general budget law submitted by the #GNS headed by Fathi #Bashaga, for a total of 89,689,376,000 billion Libyan dinars

But what happened during the Parliament’s session?

The number of deputies present in that session was 103, with 98 MPs voting directly and the other 5 voting electronically (via audio recording). Tahra monitored several violations of the constitutional declaration and the bylaws of the House of Representatives during the vote.

1- The 7th amendment to the constitutional declaration stipulates that approving the budget requires 120 votes, or what is called a “described majority.” 103 votes are therefore not enough
